ARISE Rooftop Bar – AMANOR Hotel Chiang Mai

ARISE is the rooftop bar of AMANOR Hotel Chiang Mai, a Small Luxury Hotels of the World member on Lane 9 of Nimmana Haeminda Road, in the middle of the Nimman bar and café district. The hotel was previously akyra Manor, and the bar was known as Rise; it keeps the same rooftop and the same view.

The terrace runs alongside a see-through, glass-sided pool, with a long timber bar under a part-covered roof and deep wicker sofas facing out over the low-rise city to the forested ridge of Doi Suthep. The drinks list is built around handcrafted cocktails, with wine and beer, and the kitchen covers Italian, fusion and Mexican-leaning bar food and sharing plates. Golden hour is the main event, and the bar stays busy well into the night.

It opens daily from 3pm and is open to non-residents. Weekend evenings fill up, so it is worth reserving a sofa through the hotel if you are coming for sunset.
