Barracuda Sky Gala – Akara Pattaya

Barracuda Sky Gala crowns Akara Hotel Pattaya, one of the city's newer towers, on the 24th floor. The design is built around a ring-shaped infinity pool, with pale lounge chairs and pod seats beneath a curved timber canopy, and the glass edge opens up views across Pattaya's rooftops to the sea.

It works as an all-day venue, open from 7am to 1am, with food orders until 10pm and drinks until 11pm, so you can come up for afternoon tea as well as a nightcap. The two house signatures are Till the Sunrise and Barracuda Nora, both tropical and fruit-led, and the kitchen leans on Thai flavours.

The bar is lit up after dark and the sunset hour is the busiest time, so arrive a little early for a seat by the pool. It is a sister to Barracuda Rooftop Bar at Akara Bangkok and suits couples and small groups who want a polished hotel rooftop near the centre of town.
