BlackOut Rooftop Bar – Radisson RED Danang

BlackOut is the rooftop bar of Radisson RED Danang, the first Radisson RED in Southeast Asia, on Vo Nguyen Giap, the seafront road that runs along My Khe Beach in Son Tra. From the top of the tower the view takes in the beach and the sea on one side and the city lights stretching back towards the Han River on the other.

The room is dark and playful, with red neon, a giant octopus sculpture curling across the ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows, and there is outdoor seating for when the evening cools down. The drinks list centres on signature cocktails, and the kitchen covers everything from bar snacks to bolder Vietnamese dishes. Happy hour is buy-one-get-one-free from 5pm to 7pm, with a second round from 11pm to midnight, and DJs play on Wednesday ladies' nights and Saturday evenings.

It opens daily from 3pm to midnight and is open to non-residents. It suits a sunset drink after a day on the beach, and it is a short taxi ride from the bars around the Dragon Bridge.
