Brilliant Top Bar

Brilliant Top Bar is on the roof of the Brilliant Hotel on Bach Dang, the riverside boulevard in Hai Chau. It has an indoor room under yellow paper lanterns with glass walls, and an open-air terrace that looks straight onto the Han River, its bridges and the lights of the east bank.

The hotel says the bar holds more than 100 people and describes it as lively. The menu mixes Asian and European dishes, including steaks and a gold-leaf tomahawk promotion, with house cocktails, mocktails, flavoured mojitos, draught beer and wine. The kitchen is busy, but the terrace still works for just a drink.

Live music plays on Saturday evenings and public holidays. Recent reviews give hours of 4pm to 11pm daily. Dress is casual. It is a central option for watching the river at night, including the weekend fire show on Dragon Bridge nearby.
