Casa Boho – Hyatt Regency Phuket

Casa Boho stands on the clifftop of the Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort at the northern end of Kamala, looking west over Kamala Bay and the Andaman Sea. It is spread over three levels, each with its own mood: an adults-only Roof Terrace at the top, a pool deck with daybeds and a pool bar below, and The Den, a lounge with pool and table football.

The Roof Terrace is the part to head for at sundown, with bohemian furniture under arches, a cocktail list with a Latin American bent and premium cigars. The kitchen, run by a Latin American chef, sends out ceviche, tapas and tacos, and resident DJs play afro, tribal and deep house on busier nights, sometimes with live percussion.

It is open daily from noon to 10pm. Tables are limited and the venue recommends booking ahead, particularly for sunset; mention any celebration when you book. It suits groups and couples who want sea views with a livelier soundtrack than a classic hotel bar.
