EDEN Bar

EDEN Bar is on the 90th floor of Pan Pacific Jakarta in Luminary Tower, part of the Thamrin Nine development on Jalan M.H. Thamrin. WhatsNew Indonesia currently names it the highest rooftop bar in Jakarta. Most guests come for the outdoor garden terrace, which looks across the central Thamrin skyline.

The theme is botanical, with plenty of greenery, and the bar team follows a 'skin to seed' approach that uses whole local ingredients to cut waste. Earlier menus have included King (sweet vermouth, chamomile-orange bitters and a wine reduction) and Queen (sakura-tea gin with mango-orange bitters). The hotel's Keyaki Japanese restaurant is on the same floor if you want dinner first.

The bar opens in the evening and stays open late on Fridays and Saturdays. Book ahead for a terrace seat. It suits anyone who wants the city's highest view with a carefully made drink.
