Level Nine Rooftop

Level Nine is the rooftop bar of the Erian Hotel on Jalan K.H. Wahid Hasyim in Gondangdia, Menteng. It is a short ride from Sarinah and the Thamrin offices. The terrace is partly covered, with rattan-style lounge sets, artificial turf and a long backlit bar. From there you look across low-rise Menteng towards the high-rises of central Jakarta.

The hotel describes it as a relaxed place for a drink, a chat or the view, and it serves cocktails alongside beer and soft drinks. It opens every day from 5pm to midnight, so it works well for sunset and for an after-work drink. Hotel guests have mentioned a dine-in discount on the rooftop.

It is less formal than the big hotel sky bars and has no published dress code. It suits small groups who want an unhurried rooftop drink in central Jakarta.
