Rooftop Go Where is a guide to the rooftop and sky bars of Southeast Asia and Hong Kong, for people who live here and people passing through. It started as Rooftop Bars Asia and now covers sixteen cities, from Bangkok and Singapore to Manila, Hanoi and Phuket.
Bars where the drink comes with a view: hotel sky bars, open-air roof terraces, high-floor lounges with a real skyline or sea view, and a few cliff and beach-town spots that earn their place. We leave out clubs, restaurants where the bar is an afterthought, and places that are rooftops in name only.
Every bar is checked against its own website, its hotel or recent reviews before it goes on the site, and we take bars off when they close. Each listing shows the floor, the view, the dress code, whether to book and whether there's a happy hour. If something has changed, tell us through the contact form and we'll update it.
