Rooftop Go Where is a free guide to rooftop bars. You can read every page without an account, and we keep what we learn about visitors to a minimum.
When you browse, our hosting provider records standard server logs: the pages requested, your browser and device type, an approximate location derived from your IP address and the time of the visit. If you send us a message, submit a bar or claim a listing, we receive the name, email address and details you type into that form.
Logs help us keep the site running, spot broken pages and understand which cities people look at. Form details are used only to reply to you, to check a submitted bar or to confirm that you run the venue you are claiming.
Nobody buys data from us, and we never trade it. It passes only to the services that run the site for us, such as hosting, email and analytics providers, and to authorities if the law requires it.
Server logs are kept for a limited period. Messages and submissions are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your request or to keep a listing accurate.
The site uses a small number of cookies that it needs to work, and may use analytics cookies to count visits. Your browser lets you refuse or clear them whenever you like.
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Use the contact form and tell us what you would like us to do.
When our approach changes, this page and its date change with it.
