Rooftop Terrace – Holiday Inn Pattaya

The Rooftop Terrace sits on level 25 of the Executive Tower at Holiday Inn Pattaya, on the beachfront at the northern end of Beach Road. At 107 metres up it gives a wide, open view over the bay, the curve of the beach and the city behind, and the light changes nicely from sunset into the evening.

This is a casual rooftop rather than a dressy lounge: cocktails and a full food menu served at simple tables in the open air, with platters that work well for sharing. Hours are 5pm to 11pm daily, and happy hour runs from 7pm to 9pm, after the sunset rush.

The hotel limits numbers and advises booking ahead to be sure of a seat, which is worth doing on weekend evenings. It suits families, groups of friends and hotel guests who want a sea view and a drink without the club atmosphere of some of Pattaya's other rooftops.
