Sizzle tops Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong – MGallery, set on the hillside above Patong rather than down in the beach strip. The open-air terrace faces west across treetops to the Andaman Sea, so the sunset is the main draw, and there is covered all-weather seating if the rain comes in.
The bar runs separately from the steak and seafood restaurant and opens earlier, from 5.30pm to 11.30pm. Expect handcrafted cocktails and tropical tiki serves, a solid wine list and regular guest-bartender takeovers; in 2026 it ran a series of cocktails created with chef Pam for World Cocktail Month. Music is laid-back, with DJ sets on some nights.
The restaurant side, which serves Wagyu and seafood from live tanks between 6pm and 11pm, appears in the Michelin Guide 2026, so book ahead if you plan to eat. For a drink at the rail, arriving before sunset is usually enough. It suits couples and anyone wanting a calmer, more grown-up evening than Bangla Road.
