Skybar Summer Club – Siam@Siam Pattaya

Skybar Summer Club occupies the top of Siam@Siam Design Hotel on Pattaya Second Road, with the party deck on the 27th floor. It bills itself as the city's highest rooftop bar, and the open terrace looks straight out over Pattaya Bay and the boats moored offshore, with a long infinity pool, blue-and-white umbrellas and a giant guardian statue at the pool's edge.

The menu is relaxed: cocktails built for the heat, plus comfort food from Asian noodles to pizza, some of it served in picnic baskets. DJs play from sunset, with pole-art performances and ice-carving shows on some nights, and outdoor film screenings now and then. Happy hour runs daily from 6pm to 8pm.

The upper deck is reserved for guests aged 18 and over; families are pointed to Barbù, the hotel's lower pool deck. Arrive before sunset for the best light and a lounger. It suits groups after a lively evening with a sea view rather than a quiet cocktail.
