Sol Sky Bar – Solaria Hotel Hanoi

Sol Sky Bar is the rooftop bar of Solaria Hotel on Bao Khanh, the small street of bars and cafés just off the north-west corner of Hoan Kiem Lake. It sits on Level 10, an open terrace with cushioned lounge chairs, bar stools along the rail and strings of lights overhead, looking out over the rooftops of the Old Quarter, towards the lake and the high-rises of the wider city.

The drinks are built around three menus: a signature cocktail list called Legend of Sol, a wider drinks list of wine, spirits and beer, and a bar food menu for sharing. The bar runs a happy hour and live music, and its own events page carries the current offers.

It opens daily from 4pm to 1am, with last orders at 12.30am, so it works both for sunset and as a late stop after dinner in the Old Quarter. Tables can be booked online through the bar's website, which is worth doing if you want a rail-side seat at sunset.
