Starlight Skybar – Aurora Premium Hotel

Starlight Skybar is the rooftop bar of Aurora Premium Hotel & Spa on Hang Be, one of the Old Quarter streets that run down towards the north-east corner of Hoan Kiem Lake. It is an open-air terrace with about 80 seats, from cushioned lounge chairs for groups to standing tables along the rail, decorated with flowering trees, fairy lights and an illuminated crescent moon.

The view takes in Hoan Kiem Lake and the rooftops of the Old Quarter, and it is best at sunset, when the lake catches the last light and the city lights come on. The bar mixes signature and classic cocktails alongside wine, spirits, cold beer and mocktails, with bar bites to share, and the hotel's Comet Restaurant on the floor below serves Vietnamese and fusion dishes if you want a full meal.

It opens daily from 4pm to midnight. Dress is casual, music is modern and upbeat, and tables can be booked through the hotel's website or by phone.
