Antidote – I'M Hotel

Antidote sits on the roof of I'M Hotel on Makati Avenue, on the edge of Poblacion, Makati's bar and street-food quarter. The terrace runs along the top of the building on the 40th floor, with bar stools lined up against the railings and a view across the towers of the Makati CBD. Inside, a long illuminated jellyfish tank gives the bar its blue glow after dark.

The cocktail list plays with Filipino flavours: Kesong Puti + Taho uses carabao-milk-cheese-washed Ketel One, Bugnay + Junbucha pairs Suntory Kakubin with a local wild berry, and Vermilion Dream mixes strawberry vodka with elderflower. Food is gastropub-style, with sourdough Neapolitan pizzas, a Hangover Burger and smoked harissa prawns.

Antidote opens daily from 5pm until 3am, which makes it a natural late stop after Poblacion. Hotel and outside guests are both welcome. Smart casual dress applies, and reservations are recommended at weekends and for sunset.
