Encaramada Rooftop Bar – TRYP by Wyndham Mall of Asia Manila

Encaramada is the rooftop bar of TRYP by Wyndham Mall of Asia Manila, a modern hotel on Seaside Boulevard in the Mall of Asia complex in Pasay, next to the One Esplanade events venue and a short walk from SM Mall of Asia. The name is Spanish for "perched", and the bar sits beside the hotel's rooftop pool with an open view west across Manila Bay to the mountains of Bataan, with the city behind.

Sunset is the reason to come: the terrace is strung with festoon lights, and the sun goes down over the bay right in front of the tables and wicker lounge chairs. Drinks run from cocktails and craft beers to wine and spirits, with tapas, pizzas and sharing plates from the menu of Milagritos, the hotel's Spanish-Filipino restaurant.

The hotel lists the rooftop bar as open daily from 10am to 10pm. It is an easy stop before or after an event at the MOA Arena or SMX, or a first evening in Manila if you are flying in to nearby NAIA.
