Mistral – Raffles Makati

Mistral is the rooftop bar of Raffles Makati, beside Fairmont Makati at the top of Makati Avenue, next to Glorietta and Greenbelt. On the tenth floor, it is not one of the city's highest bars, but the open-air terrace of low sofas, red cushions and clipped hedges looks straight across to the skyline of the central business district, which lights up after sunset. A red-walled indoor lounge with a long bar offers air-conditioning when the evening is humid.

The bartenders make classic and bespoke cocktails, and the snack menu draws on international and local flavours. Guest DJs play from 8pm to 11pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

It opens at 5pm daily, closing at midnight Sunday to Wednesday and at 1am Thursday to Saturday. There is no strict dress code, though smart casual is recommended, and no minors are admitted. Reserve by phone or email.
