Secana Rooftop

Secana Rooftop is on top of Secana Beachtown, a resort a few steps from Berawa Beach in Canggu. NOW! Bali says the view runs along the south-west coast from Seseh to Uluwatu, and on clear mornings inland to Mount Agung and Mount Batur. There is a glass-bottom pool, daybeds, cabanas, bar seating and a covered dining area with ocean views.

It opens from 9am to 11pm, so you can spend a lazy afternoon by the pool before sunset. Two-for-one cocktails run from 4pm to 7pm. DJs play sunset sessions on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The food is Mediterranean in style: antipasti and seafood platters, grilled dishes, wagyu fillet, pasta and pizza.

Daybeds and the private corner can be booked, and booking is the safest way to get a sunset seat. It suits friends who want to stay from afternoon swim to evening drinks.
