Sky Deck View Bar – The Bayleaf Intramuros

Sky Deck sits on the ninth-floor roof of The Bayleaf Intramuros, a boutique hotel on the corner of Muralla and Victoria streets, right against the Spanish-era walls. The covered terrace, with Spanish-tiled pavilions at either end, has a near 360-degree outlook: over the Intramuros golf course and the old city's churches, across to the high-rises of Manila, and west towards the bay, where the sunset is the main event.

The bar keeps things simple and good value, with classic cocktails, local and imported beers and wine, and an à la carte menu of Asian and international dishes. Buffet dinners run on Friday and Saturday nights, and acoustic bands play at weekends. Happy hour runs daily from 5.30pm to 9pm.

Open daily from 4pm to 11pm. Smart casual dress is expected. It makes an easy stop after a walking tour of Intramuros or a visit to Fort Santiago.
