Straight Up Bar – Seda BGC

Straight Up Bar sits on the roof of Seda BGC, Ayala Land's business hotel on the corner of 30th Street and 11th Avenue in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. It is the original BGC outpost of Seda's Straight Up rooftop bars, and the setting is the newer side of Metro Manila: the glass towers of BGC close up on every side, with the Makati skyline beyond.

There is a warm, low-lit indoor lounge with bar seating, and an open-air terrace with lounge chairs and tables along the rail for the city view, so it works in the rainy season too. The bar pours handcrafted cocktails, beers and a full wine list, with light bites and international bar food, and there is live music on some nights and sports on screen for big games.

Straight Up opens at 4pm every day and stays open until midnight from Sunday to Thursday and until 2am on Friday and Saturday. The happy hour is a buy-one-take-one on cocktails, beers and red and white wine by the glass, and Sangria Tower nights serve a shared tower for up to five. Tables can be reserved through Seda's website, which is worth doing for a terrace seat at the end of the working week.
